We will be staying and playing that weekend at the Embassy Suites in downtown Kansas City.http://www.embassysuites.com/
The rates are $139.00 plus tax per night for a bedroom suite. There is plenty of room to double up and save costs. The Embassy Suites comes with a free daily cooked to order breakfast, and a 7 day a week complimentary two hour cocktail hour. Check them out on their web site. The hotel will honor the rate 1 day before the event and 1 day after. I will have the group code soon. We planned this reunion starting on Thursday, as we all seem to show up one day or so before the official kick off anyway. Thursday will be a whatever day, there is so much to see and do in Kansas City. The hospitality suite will be open that evening. We will have a formal kick off on Friday night with cocktails and munchies. Then up to the hospitality suite or downtown Kansas City. The hotel has a free shuttle to take us to there downtown area. Saturday is free time to explore the area, or visit in the hospitality suite. A Saturday night buffet and DJ will be later in the evening. Shuttle service from the airport is around $18.00. Internet fees are $9.95 for a 24 hour period. The hospitality suite will have internet access, so if you bring your computer you can link up there for no additional cost. Registration fee is $178.00 , Once again you can use PayPal. There will be $7.00 extra fee to use the service, if that is the form of payment you choose. And of course a check or money as payment.
